Girlfriends premiered in September 2000 and explored the lives of Joan, Toni, Lynn, Maya, and their friend William, played by actor Reggie Hayes. Fans were fond of Reggie’s character, including his dry sense of humor and the struggles he faced in his love life. It appeared that his career was headed down the right path. However, it all came crashing down in 2008, and Reggie has struggled to regain his footing in the industry ever since.
